LPG and the Environment

Cleaner and Greener

Global warming is something that everyone is aware of nowadays, and we can all do our bit to help. We all recycle our waste nowadays, and we all moaned about the inconvenience of sorting plastics, glass, paper and food waste. Eventually we all saw the benefits and now its part of the weekly routine and "the norm".

There are many more ways to help save our planet, too numerous to list here, but lets focus on why you're here. It will be of no surprise to you that converting your vehicle to LPG is a very good step forwards, both in environmental and financial terms.

Petrol and diesel vehicles on the road today contribute massive amounts of pollution every day, and the bigger the engine the bigger the damage.

Diesel is particularly bad. The massive amount of particulates these engines throw out is bad enough, but on top of this, the pollution is pumped out at the ideal height for kids to breath in and of course this in all probability contributes to lung problems in the elderly and asthmatics as well.

120 LPG powered cars will emit the same amount of particulates as one similar vehicle powered with diesel.

LPG emits less than half the NOx of petrol and less than one twentieth the NOx of diesel.

LPG emits 17% to 20 % less CO2 compared to petrol and 2% less CO2 compared to diesel.

All in all, LPG is by far the cleanest of available motor fuels in all aspects, even when compared to electric, which still has to be generated by fossil fuel or nuclear power stations.

So with LPG, you can help save the planet and your wallet, both at the same time!
